Dr. Vaneeta Aggarwal, a prominent figure in the field of women’s empowerment, attended the G20 Empower India meeting held in the picturesque beach city of Kovalam, Kerala. The meeting, hosted by the Government of India and with participation from the Ministry of Women & Children Development and Ministry of Ayush, focused on the theme “A Win-Win Equity & Economy” for women empowerment. Dr. Aggarwal expressed her gratitude for the enriching experience amongst inspiring leaders and thanked Dr. Sangita Reddy for chairing the entire event. The meeting also showcased made in India herbal products, live cultural events, and presentations on Indian heritage. Dr.Aggarwal Met many International dignitaries in the event.
Dr. Aggarwal was later invited as the guest of honour to the annual festival “Vasant” organized by the Institute of Home Economics, Delhi University. The festival inaugurated with a song praying to the Goddess Saraswati, and Dr. Aggarwal delivered a keynote speech on women empowerment. The students were present in large numbers, and the NSS wing hosted a power-packed session “Power of Her” to guide young women students of the institute. The festival was a great success, and the presence of Dr. Aggarwal inspired many young women to pursue their dreams fearlessly as entrepreneurs.
