If we search on Google, the meaning of professionalism comes out to be that “
Professionalism is the conduct, behaviour and attitude of someone in a work or business environment. Professionalism leads to workplace success, a strong professional reputation and a high level of work ethic and excellence. “ Therefore, if we understand the actual practical meaning of professionalism, then it comes to be a well experienced, sophisticated person with positive mature behaviour in their attitude of work in the business environment.
This kind of professionalism is now a days getting faded day by day. As the expertise themselves are into the long thought productive process which practically takes nothing but an idea to have development in business. But what about people/employees working in the companies ? Its always been said from the childhood by our parents to us that be with good friends or make some intelligent friends. Why was it told at that time ? It was because the environment matters a lot.
The civility in the business environment is important to bring every individual to a well being a prepared personality of any profession with an attitude of professionalism.
Now a days, Life has been challenging, therefore after building up a company, the idea gets somewhere lost and the people named as professionals runs towards generating more and more revenue whether being in professionalism or without it.
Well there have to be those kind of people in the company who can be true towards their ethics and values of professionalism whether the seniors or juniors follow them or not. Because professionalism brings the identity in a very impressive way for the business of the company.
Dealing with multiple clients in a day leaves different impressions on the clients. As, if you are a professional, then every work would be done in an order with kind gentle behaviour without having any greediness or thinking towards generating money.
Professionalism has changes these days, because the people have themselves been changed which effected professionalism as well. Now the reverts are not straightforwardly given. Either the company lie or delays or the client ignores the calls of the company.
This nature of changed professionalism is going towards a wrong path where people in future might deal secretly but would not let others know about their projects.
Anything could happen in unprofessional behaviour because here the ethics and excellence or values are totally finished and the target which becomes is to just generate the revenue to maximum figures anyhow.
“Professionalism can lead you to respected success which is a strong professional reputation and a high level of work ethic and excellence.
Whereas Unprofessionalism leads to just success in figures of money but without any organised way of work in the market.”
